Production of polyester fibres from PET bottles

The raw material used by Fiberfil is recycled PET bottle flake. After being collected, sorted and subjected to washing and shredding processes, the bottles are processed into flakes and delivered in big bags to our company. Every year, Fiberfil uses approximately 1.5 billion PET bottles for its polyester fibre production.

By using recycled raw material instead of virgin polymer, we contribute to the reduction of oil use and the reduction of CO2 emissions into the air. Among Fiberfil's primary goals are sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
